The regular meeting of the Helper City Council was called to order by Mayor

Pro –Tempro Mascaro at 6:00 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES – March 16, 2006.

Council Member Jones moved to approve the minutes of March 16, 2006. Council Member Armstrong seconded the motion, motion carried. Unanimous decision by council present.

DISCUSSION AND/OR APPROVAL SWIMMING POOL PROJECT, CIB FUNDING.

Council Member Armstrong told the council that the CIB will give the city $100,000 grant and a $200,000 loan. The bids for the construction will be in by next Wednesday and will show exactly what we need to have. The council agreed to hold a special meeting to review the bids and discuss to accept the offer that the CIB made.

ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business Council Member Buchanan moved to adjourn the meeting. Council Member Farrell seconded the motion. Motion carried. Unanimous decision by council present to adjourn the meeting.
