Citizen: Marie Davidson, Walter Borla, Charlotte and Mick Stubbings, Dave Dornan, Laura Monson, Marilou Kundmueller Dornan, and Melanie Steele.

The regular meeting of the Helper City Council was called to order by Mayor Dalpiaz at 6:00 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES – December 21, 2006.

Council Member Jones moved to approve the minutes of December 21, 2006. Council Member Mascaro seconded the motion, motion carried. Unanimous decision by council present.

DISCUSSION AND/OR APPROVAL ON HIRING OF WILLIAM L. MARINONI.

Council Member Mascaro moved to approve the hiring of William L. Marinoni. Council Member Armstrong seconded the motion, motion carried. Unanimous decision by council present.

DISCUSSION AND/OR APPROVAL ON SWIMMING POOL PROJECT.

Council Member Armstrong informed the council that the completion date of the pool is March 20, 2007 if all goes well. They will begin the excavation of the pool on Monday, January 8, 2007.

ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business Council Member Mascaro moved to adjourn the meeting. Council Member Armstrong seconded the motion. Motion carried. Unanimous decision by council present to adjourn the meeting.
