The work meeting of the Helper City Council was called to
order by Mayor Bonacci at
DISCUSSION
ON SWIMMING POOL ISSUE.
Council was questioning the $200,000 that Commissioner Krompel has been working on getting for the pool project.
Commissioner
Milovich told the council that during the budgeting process for 2006 the county
will look at the needs of the county and if possible they will give Helper
$200,000 to be used toward
Concerning the grant process with the Community Impact Board Commissioner Milovich also recommended that the council set priorities for funding requests. He told the council that they had to make a decision on if a new water tank and water line repairs should be a higher priority than constructing a new pool.
Commissioner Milovich stated that in his opinion the Community Impact Board will most liking give the pool project half grant and half loan or only a loan. There are no assurances.
