MINUTES OF THE HELPER CITY SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

The special meeting of the Helper City Council was called to order by Mayor Bonacci at 5:00 p.m.   

 

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

 

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Bonacci.

 

DISCUSSION AND/OR APPROVAL ON BOND ATTORNEY AND SWIMMING POOL SURVEY AND ADVERTISEMENT FOR A & E.

 

The city has received three bids for bond attorney.  Ballard, Spahr, Andrews, & Ingersoll  $5,000  Richard Chamberlain $5,000 and Smith-Hartvigsen $5,750 plus cost.

 

 

Council Member Welch moved to approve Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll for bond attorney’s providing the city receives a hard copy of their bid of $5,000  . Council Member Buchanan seconded the motion. Motion carried. Unanimous decision by council present.  

 

Council Member Welch moved to advertise for a surveyor . Council Member Gonzales seconded the motion. Motion carried. Unanimous decision by council present.  

 

Council Member Farrell moved to hire the lowest bid for a surveyor . Council Member Buchanan seconded the motion. Motion carried. Unanimous decision by council present.

There being no further business Council Member Welch moved to adjourn the meeting.  Council Member Gonzales seconded the motion.  Motion carried.
