Please Slow Down For Our Community & Children

The Helper City Police Department received grant funding from the office of Highway Safety, State of Utah to purchase the speed trailer for our community.  The cost of the trailer was approx. $7,750.00.  Without the grant funding, we would not of been able to purchase the unit to assist with the speeding problems in different areas.

Citizens are encouraged to check their speed odometers with the unit to ensure that your vehicles are showing the correct speed.  Another benefit is most citizens don’t realize how fast you are actually going unless you come upon one of these trailers or you see a patrol vehicle approaching.  Please take the time to check your speed and also ensure that you are obeying the speed limits.  Remember that young children are always out playing and you may not see them right away.

Chief George M. Zamantakis

If you would like to schedule the radar trailer in your residential area, please call our office or send a message by email and we will work with you to get the radar trailer in your area.   We are currently leaving the trailer in specific areas for approx. two weeks to assist with traffic speed problems.
