Christmas Town

Every November and December Helper transforms into Utah’s Christmas Town, with the neon signs shining and storefronts bedecked with garlands and lights. The Lights On Ceremony greets the Christmas season with the lighting of trees, lamp posts, and storefronts. and the Luminary Memorial Ceremony in the city cemetery ensures that loved ones are not forgotten during this special time of year. The Christmas Craft Fair, held at the Civic Center, features local crafters’ and artisans’ gifts. The Electric Light Parade journeys down Main Street with floats representing schools, clubs, and businesses from Helper and Price while storefronts gleam with warm light and offerings of hot cocoa and apple cider. Santa himself appears at the end of the parade, waving from the sparkling float and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
